✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Do not prefer me over Musa, for the people will be struck unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, and I will be among the first to regain consciousness. Then Musa will be found grasping the side of the Throne. I do not know whether he was struck unconscious and regained consciousness before me, or whether he was among those whom Allah ﷻ exempted.”

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “No Muslim gives charity from good earnings—and Allah accepts only what is good, and nothing ascends to heaven except what is good—except that it is as if he places it in the hand of the Most Merciful, and He nurtures it as a man nurtures his colt or young camel, until a date becomes like a great mountain.”

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Angels take turns among you, angels by night and angels by day, and they assemble at the dawn prayer. Then those who spent the night among you ascend, and He asks them, though He knows best: How did you leave My servants? They say: We left them while they were praying, and we came to them while they were praying.” The wording is Qutaybah's.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us on the night of the full moon and looked at the moon, then said: “You will see your Lord as you see this moon; you will not be harmed in seeing Him.”

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night, and our eyes were fixed, so we began looking at the moon on the night of the full moon. He said: “Indeed, you will see your Lord as you see the moon; you will not be harmed in seeing Him. So if you are able not to be overcome so as to miss two prayers, then do so: a prayer before sunrise and a prayer before sunset.” Then he recited {And glorify with praise of your Lord} [Ta-Ha 130].

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I have told you about the false messiah, the Dajjal, until I feared that you would not comprehend. He is short, with splayed feet, curly hair, one-eyed, with his left eye obliterated, neither protruding nor sunken. If he becomes confused for you, then know that your Lord, blessed and exalted, is not one-eyed, and you will not see your Lord until you die.”

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said regarding this verse {For those who have done good is the best and an increase} [Yunus 26]: When the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, a caller will call: O people of Paradise, you have a promise from Allah. They will say: What is it? Has Allah not whitened our faces, made our scales heavy, admitted us to Paradise, and saved us from the Fire? Then the veil will be lifted and He will manifest to them. By Allah, Allah has not given them anything more beloved to them than looking at Him.

✧ I saw Mu'awiyah after he had recovered from an illness he had suffered, while he was delivering a sermon. He had rolled up his sleeves, and his forearms were like palm stalks, and he was saying: "Is this world anything but what we have tasted and experienced? By Allah, I wish that I would not be given a choice among you for more than three [nights] until I meet Allah." A man stood up to him and said: "To the mercy of Allah, O Commander of the Believers!" He said: "Rather, to whatever Allah wills for me. Allah knows that I have not turned away from the truth, and if Allah disliked something, He would change it."
