✧ The Compensation and the Punishment

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَيْفُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عِيَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ نَرَى رَبَّنَا؟ قَالَ «هَلْ تَرَوْنَ الشَّمْسَ فِي يَوْمٍ لَا غَيْمَ فِيهِ وَتَرَوْنَ الْقَمَرَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ لَا غَيْمَ فِيهَا؟» قُلْنَا نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَإِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ»

Translation

✧ We asked, "O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord?" He said, "Do you see the sun on a cloudless day, and do you see the moon on a cloudless night?" We said, "Yes." He said, "So indeed, you will see your Lord."
