أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ لَقَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ وَأَمَرَنِي إِنْ نَزَلَ بِي كُرْبَةٌ أَوْ شِدَّةٌ أَنْ أَقُولَهَا «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَهُ تَبَارَكَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ»

✧ From Ali: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me these words and commanded me, if any distress or hardship befalls me, to say them: 'There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Him. Blessed is Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.'
