✧ The One, the Unique, the Eternal Refuge {He neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable unto Him} [Surah al-Ikhlas: 4]

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ حَدَّثَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجُ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ كَذَّبَنِي ابْنُ آدَمَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبَنِي وَشَتَمَنِي ابْنُ آدَمَ وَلَمْ يَنْبَغِ لَهُ أَنْ يَشْتِمَنِي فَأَمَّا تَكْذِيبُهُ إِيَّايَ فَقَوْلُهُ لَنْ يُعِيدَنِي كَمَا بَنَانِي وَلَيْسَ الْخَلْقُ بِأَهْوَنَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ إِعَادَتِهِ وَأَمَّا شَتْمُهُ فَقَوْلُهُ اتَّخَذَ اللهُ وَلَدًا وَأَنَا اللهُ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ أَلِدْ وَلَمْ أُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِي كَفُّوا أَحَدٌ

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: Allah ﷻ said: 'The son of Adam belied Me, though he had no right to belie Me, and the son of Adam reviled Me, though he should not have reviled Me. As for his belying Me, it is his saying: "He will not resurrect me as He created me at first"—but the first creation is not easier for Me than restoring him. As for his reviling Me, it is his saying: "Allah has taken a son"—but I am Allah, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.'
