✧ The Mighty, The Forgiving

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَثَّامٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِذَا تَضَوَّرَ أَيْ تَقَلَّبَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ»

Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ tossed and turned during the night, he would say: “There is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer, Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the Forgiving.”
