Sahih Ibn Hibban 61Sahih
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A group of my Ummah will continue to prevail and they will never be harmed by those who forsake them, until the Hour begins." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 6)
Sahih Ibn Hibban 62Sahih
✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "You hear and others hear from you, and others hear from those who hear from you."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 63Hasan
✧ "When you hear a hadith from me that your hearts recognize, and your hair and skin soften to it, and you feel that it is close to you, then I am the closest of you to it. When you hear a hadith from me that your hearts reject, and your hair and skin recoil from it, and you feel that it is far from you, then I am the furthest of you from it."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 64Sahih

Sahih Ibn Hibban 66Sahih
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah brighten the face of the individual who hears something from us and conveys it exactly as he heard it. There are times when the one who conveys something is more mindful of it than the one who hears it."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 67Sahih
✧ Zayd b. Thabit came out from Marwan's presence near midday. I said: He only sent for him to ask him about something. I went to him and asked him. He said: Yes, he asked us about things we heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "May Allah have mercy on a person who hears a hadith from me, memorizes it, and conveys it to others. Perhaps a carrier of fiqh delivers it to one more insightful than himself, and perhaps a carrier of fiqh is not a faqih. Three qualities: the heart of a Muslim does not harbor rancor against them: sincerity of action for Allah, sincere counsel to those in authority, and adhering to the community, for their supplication encompasses those behind them."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 68Sahih

✧ "May Allah brighten a person who hears a hadith from us and conveys it as he heard it, for perhaps the one to whom it is conveyed is more retentive than the one who heard it."

✧ "The keys of the unseen are five: no one knows what the wombs will bring forth except Allah; no one knows what will be tomorrow except Allah; no one knows when the rain will come except Allah; no soul knows in which land it will die; and no one knows when the Hour will arise."

✧ "The keys of the unseen are five, no one knows them except Allah: no one knows what the wombs will diminish except Allah; nor what will be tomorrow except Allah; nor when the rain will come except Allah; nor does any soul know in which land it will die; nor does anyone know when the Hour will arise except Allah."
✧ "Indeed Allah hates every arrogant, rude, loud-mouthed person in the markets, a corpse by night, a donkey by day, knowledgeable in worldly affairs, ignorant of the affairs of the Hereafter."

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the words of Allah: {He it is who sent down upon you the Book, in it are clear verses} to its end, and said: "When you see those who follow what is ambiguous from it, know that they are the ones Allah meant, so beware of them."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 74Sahih
✧ "The Qur'an was revealed in seven modes, and disputing about the Qur'an is disbelief" – three times. "Whatever of it you know, act upon it; and whatever of it you are ignorant of, refer it to its knower."

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ recited this verse: {It is He who sent down upon you the Book, wherein are verses clear that are the Mother of the Book, and others ambiguous} up to His saying {those of understanding}. She said: Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you see those who dispute in it, they are those whom Allah meant, so beware of them."

✧ "Do not learn knowledge to vie with the scholars, nor to argue with the foolish, nor to gain preeminence in gatherings. Whoever does that, then the Fire, the Fire!"
Sahih Ibn Hibban 78No grade recorded

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What I fear for you the most is a man who has memorized the Quran, until his delight is seen on him and it becomes apparent that he is a supporter of Islam. Then he changes it to whatever Allah wills. He sheds it from himself and throws it behind his back, and he fights against his neighbor with the sword and accuses him of polytheism." I said, "O Prophet of Allah, who is more deserving of being accused of polytheism, the thrower or the one thrown at?" He said, "Rather, it is the one who throws."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 82Hasan sahih

✧ He used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from deeds that are not raised, from a heart that does not humble itself, and from words that are not heard."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 84Sahih

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the mosque with the people around him, three persons came. Two came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and one went away. When the two stood before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, they greeted. One of them saw a gap in the circle and sat in it, while the other sat behind them. As for the third, he turned and went away. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, he said: "Shall I inform you about the three persons? As for one of them, he sought refuge with Allah, so Allah gave him refuge. As for the other, he was shy, so Allah was shy of him. As for the other, he turned away, so Allah turned away from him."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 87Hasan

✧ I was sitting with Abu al-Darda' in the mosque of Damascus when a man came to him and said, 'O Abu al-Darda', I have come to you from the City of the Messenger ﷺ concerning a hadith which I was told you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' Abu al-Darda' said, 'You have not come for any need, nor for trade; you have come only for this hadith?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Indeed I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge therein, Allah will make him travel a path from the paths of Paradise. The angels lower their wings in approval for the seeker of knowledge. Indeed the scholar is asked forgiveness for by whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on earth, and the fish in the water. The superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the moon on the night of the full moon over all the other stars. Indeed the scholars are the heirs of the prophets. The prophets did not leave behind a dinar or a dirham; they left behind knowledge. So whoever takes it has taken an abundant share."'

✧ Quraysh said to the Jews, 'Give us something we can ask this man about.' They said, 'Ask him about the spirit.' So they asked him, and it was revealed: "{And they ask you about the spirit. Say: The spirit is of the command of my Lord, and you have not been given of knowledge except a little.}" They said, 'We have not been given of knowledge except a little, yet we have been given the Torah, and whoever is given the Torah has been given abundant good?' So it was revealed: "{Say: If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord...}" the verse.

✧ “Learn the Qurʾān, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for its companions. And adhere to the two bright ones, al-Baqarah and Āl ʿImrān, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds, or two canopies, or two flocks of birds, arguing on behalf of their companions. And adhere to Sūrat al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing and leaving it is a regret, and the false ones cannot withstand it.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban 117Sahih
✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is there any evil after the goodness that we are currently in, which we should beware of?" He said, "O Hudhayfah, rely on the Book of Allah, learn it, and follow what is good in it for you."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 118Sahih
✧ “The best of you are those who learn the Qurʾān and teach it.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban 119Sahih
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Quran and keep it with you, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more intricate than the separation of the placenta in the womb."
Sahih Ibn Hibban 120Sahih
✧ “He is not one of us who does not beautify his voice with the Qurʾān.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban 121Sahih
✧ “The example of one who is given the Qurʾān and faith is that of a citron: pleasant in taste and pleasant in smell. The example of one who is not given the Qurʾān nor faith is that of a colocynth: bitter in taste and no smell. The example of one who is given faith but not the Qurʾān is that of a date: pleasant in taste but no smell. The example of one who is given the Qurʾān but not faith is that of sweet basil: bitter in taste but pleasant in smell.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban 122Sahih
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said: “Rejoice, rejoice! Do you not testify that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah?” They said: “Yes.” He said: “This Qurʾān is a rope, one end of it is in the hand of Allah and the other end is in your hands. Hold fast to it, for you will never go astray nor perish after it, ever.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban 123Sahih
✧ We entered upon him and said to him, "You have indeed witnessed good, accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and prayed behind him." He replied, "Yes, indeed he ﷺ delivered a sermon to us and said, 'I am leaving among you the Qur'an, it is the rope of Allah, whoever holds onto it will be upon guidance, and whoever abandons it will be upon misguidance.'"
Sahih Ibn Hibban 124Sahih
✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: “The Qurʾān is an intercessor whose intercession is accepted, and a disputant whose argument is believed. Whoever places it before him, it will lead him to Paradise; and whoever puts it behind his back, it will drive him to the Fire.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban 125Sahih
"There is to be no envy except for two: A man to whom Allah grants wealth and he spends from it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day. And a man to whom Allah grants (memorization of) the Quran so he stands with it (in prayer) during the hours of the night and the hours of the day." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1936)
Sahih Ibn Hibban 126Sahih
Envy is not justified but in case of two persons only: one who, having been given (knowledge of) the Qur'an by Allah, recites it during the night and during the day (and acts upon it), and the person who, having been given wealth by God, gives it in charity during the night and the day. (Using translation from Muslim 815b)

✧ He asked ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān about a man who has sexual intercourse but does not ejaculate. He said: “Nothing is due from him.” Then ʿUthmān said: “I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” He said: “After that I asked ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib, al-Zubayr b. al-ʿAwwām, Ṭalḥa b. ʿUbayd Allāh, and Ubayy b. Kaʿb, and they said the same.”
