✧ The admonition to prevent reliance on the writings of a person without preserving them

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ أَنَّ سَعِيدًا الْمَقْبُرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

«مَنْ دَخَلَ مَسْجِدَنَا هَذَا لِيَتَعَلَّمَ خَيْرًا أَوْ يُعَلِّمَهُ كَانَ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ لِغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ كَانَ كَالنَّاظِرِ إِلَى مَا لَيْسَ لَهُ»

✧ "Whoever enters this mosque of ours to learn good or to teach it is like a warrior in the path of Allah. And whoever enters for other than that is like one who looks at what does not belong to him."
