✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was speaking to the people, a Bedouin came and said, “When is the Hour?” The Prophet ﷺ continued speaking. Some of the people said, “He heard what he said and disliked it,” and others said, “Rather, he did not hear,” until when he finished his speech he said, “Where is the one who asked about the Hour?” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “When trust is neglected, then await the Hour.” He said, “What is its neglect?” He said, “When authority is given to those unworthy of it, then await the Hour.”
