✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out one day and traveled toward Badr. He began consulting the people, and Abu Bakr gave him his opinion. Then he consulted them again, and Umar gave him his opinion. He kept consulting, and the Ansar said: By God, he wants none but us. A man from the Ansar said: I see that you consult, and they give their opinions. We do not say as the Children of Israel said: Go, you and your Lord, and fight. Rather, by Him who sent you with the truth, if you struck the livers of their camels until you reached Ghimad, we would be with you.
