حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قُدَامَةُ بْنُ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْتًا - أَوْ مَكَانًا - فَرَأَى حَبْلًا مَمْدُودًا، فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالُوا: فُلَانَةُ تُصَلِّي، فَإِذَا أَعْيَتْ أَخَذَتْهُ، فَقَالَ: لِتُصَلِّ، فَإِذَا أَعْيَتْ فَلْتَنَمْ أَوْ لِتَقْعُدْ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered a house – or a place – and saw a rope stretched out. He said, “What is this?” They said, “So-and-so prays, and when she becomes tired, she holds onto it.” He said, “Let her pray; when she becomes tired, let her sleep or sit.”
