أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَحَبْلٌ مَمْدُودٌ بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا»؟ قَالُوا زَيْنَبَ فَإِذَا فَتَرَتْ أَوْ كَسِلَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِيَصِلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَشَاطَهُ فَإِذَا كَسِلَ أَوْ فَتَرَ فَلْيَقْعُدْ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque while a rope was stretched between two pillars. He said: "What is this?" They said: Zaynab, when she becomes weary or lazy she holds onto it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let one of you pray according to his energy, and when he becomes lazy or weary, let him sit."
