✧ The times when prayer is forbidden

[وَ] قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُهَلَّبَ بْنَ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ؓ، قَالَ:

( نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُصَلَّى بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَى قَرْنِ - أَوْ قَرْنَيِ - الشَّيْطَانِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade praying after the dawn prayer until the sun rises, for it rises on the horn — or two horns — of Satan.
