لَا أُحَدِّثُكَ إِلَّا مَا سَمِعْتُ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ: حَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلْمُتَحَابِّينَ فِيَّ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلْمُتَوَاصِلِينَ فِيَّ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلْمُتَصَافِينَ فِيَّ، أَوْ قَالَ: حَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلْمُتَبَاذِلِينَ فِيَّ
✧ I will only tell you what I heard from the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ: My love is due for those who love one another for My sake, My love is due for those who maintain ties for My sake, My love is due for those who are sincere to one another for My sake—or he said: My love is due for those who give to one another for My sake.

أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ: إِنِّي قَدْ فَرَضْتُ عَلَى أُمَّتِكَ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ، مَنْ وَافَى بِهِنَّ عَلَى وُضُوئِهِنَّ وَمَوَاقِيتِهِنَّ وَرُكُوعِهِنَّ وَسُجُودِهِنَّ، فَإِنَّ لَهُ عِنْدِي بِهِنَّ عَهْدًا أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ بِهِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ لَقِيَنِي قَدِ انْتَقَصَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا - أَوْ كَلِمَةً شِبْهَهَا - فَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ ; إِنْ شِئْتُ عَذَّبْتُهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ رَحِمْتُهُ
✧ As for me, I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Gabriel ﷺ came to me from Allah, Blessed and Exalted, and said: O Muhammad, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: I have made five prayers obligatory upon your community. Whoever fulfills them with their ablution, their times, their bowing, and their prostration, then he has a covenant with Me that I will admit him to Paradise by them. And whoever meets Me having neglected any of that—or a word like it—then he has no covenant with Me; if I will, I punish him, and if I will, I have mercy on him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْبِرَ أَصْحَابَهُ بِلَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ، فَتَلَاحَى رَجُلَانِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: خَرَجْتُ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُخْبِرَكُمْ بِلَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ، فَتَلَاحَى رَجُلَانِ، فَاخْتُلِجَتْ مِنِّي، فَاطْلُبُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ، فِي سَابِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ تَاسِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ خَامِسَةٍ تَبْقَى
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ went out intending to inform his companions of the Night of Decree, but two men argued, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "I went out intending to inform you of the Night of Decree, but two men argued, and it was withdrawn from me. So seek it in the last ten nights: in the seventh remaining, or the ninth remaining, or the fifth remaining."

يَا بُنَيَّ، اتَّقِ اللهَ، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّكَ لَنْ تَتَّقِيَ اللهَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنَ بِاللهِ، وَتُؤْمِنَ بِالْقَدَرِ كُلِّهِ خَيْرِهِ وَشَرِّهِ، إِنْ مُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ هَذَا دَخَلْتَ النَّارَ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ الْقَلَمَ، فَقَالَ: " اكْتُبْ فَقَالَ: يَا رَبِّ، مَا أَكْتُبُ ؟ قَالَ: " اكْتُبِ الْقَدَرَ ; مَا كَانَ، وَمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ إِلَى الْأَبَدِ
✧ "My dear son, fear God, and know that you will never fear God until you believe in God and believe in the decree, all of it, its good and its evil. If you die upon other than this, you will enter the Fire. I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'The first thing God created was the Pen. He said, "Write." It said, "My Lord, what shall I write?" He said, "Write the decree: what has been and what will be forever."'"

✧ "And the woman who dies in childbirth, her child will drag her on the Day of Resurrection by her umbilical cord to Paradise."

" أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيْنَا كَمَا أَخَذَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ ; أَنْ لَا نُشْرِكَ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا، وَلَا نَسْرِقَ، وَلَا نَزْنِيَ، وَلَا نَقْتُلَ أَوْلَادَنَا، وَلَا نَعْصِيَهُ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ، فَمَنْ أَتَى مِنْكُمْ حَدًّا مِمَّا نُهِيَ عَنْهُ فَأُقِيمَ عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَهُ، وَمَنْ أُخِّرَ فَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ ".
✧ "The Messenger of God ﷺ took a pledge from us as he took from the women: that we would not associate anything with God, would not steal, would not commit adultery, would not kill our children, and would not disobey him in what is right. Whoever among you commits a violation of what was forbidden and is punished for it, that is an expiation for him. Whoever is deferred, his affair is with God, Mighty and Majestic: if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him."

✧ "Silver for silver, gold for gold, dates for dates, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, salt for salt, equal for equal," or he said: "weight for weight." Thus al-Rabī' narrated it.

✧ A church gathered us, me and 'Ubādah, and he said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade," and he mentioned something similar.

عَادَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ، فَمَا تَحَوَّزَ لَهُ عَنْ فِرَاشِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَا تَعُدُّونَ شُهَدَاءَ أُمَّتِي ؟ فَقَالَ: مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " إِنَّ شُهَدَاءَ أُمَّتِي إِذًا لَقَلِيلٌ ; الْقَتْلُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالْبَطْنُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ يَقْتُلُهَا وَلَدُهَا جُمْعًا شَهَادَةٌ
✧ The Prophet ﷺ visited 'Abd Allāh b. Rawāḥah, and he did not make room for him on his bed. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "What do you count as the martyrs of my community?" He said: "Those killed in the path of God." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Then the martyrs of my community would be few. Being killed is martyrdom, the plague is martyrdom, stomach disease is martyrdom, and a woman killed by her child in childbirth is martyrdom."

سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ قَالَ: هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ
✧ He asked the Prophet ﷺ about the saying of God, Mighty and Majestic: "For them are good tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter." He said: "It is the righteous dream that a Muslim man sees or is seen for him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ عُرِفَ ذَلِكَ فِيهِ، فَلَمَّا أُنْزِلَتْ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلا فَلَمَّا ارْتَفَعَ الْوَحْيُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " خُذُوا خُذُوا، قَدْ جَعَلَ اللهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا ; الْبِكْرُ بِالْبِكْرِ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ وَنَفْيُ سَنَةٍ، وَالثَّيِّبُ بِالثَّيِّبِ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ وَرَجْمٌ بِالْحِجَارَةِ
✧ When revelation descended upon the Messenger of God ﷺ, it was recognizable in him. When the verse "or until God makes for them a way" was revealed, and when the revelation lifted, the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Take, take. God has made a way for them: the virgin with the virgin, one hundred lashes and banishment for a year; the previously married with the previously married, one hundred lashes and stoning with stones."

" إِذَا أَحْسَنَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّلَاةَ فَأَتَمَّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا قَالَتِ الصَّلَاةُ: حَفِظَكَ اللهُ كَمَا حَفِظْتَنِي، فَتُرْفَعُ، وَإِذَا أَسَاءَ الصَّلَاةَ فَلَمْ يُتِمَّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا قَالَتِ الصَّلَاةُ: ضَيَّعَكَ اللهُ كَمَا ضَيَّعْتَنِي، فَتُلَفُّ كَمَا يُلَفُّ الثَّوْبُ الْخَلِقُ، فَيُضْرَبُ بِهَا وَجْهُهُ
✧ "When a man performs the prayer well and completes its bowing and prostration, the prayer says: 'May God preserve you as you have preserved me,' and it is raised up. When he performs the prayer poorly and does not complete its bowing and prostration, the prayer says: 'May God waste you as you have wasted me,' and it is folded up like an old garment is folded, and it is struck with it upon his face."

" مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِجَسَدِهِ بِقَدْرِ نِصْفِ دِيَتِهِ فَعَفَا كُفِّرَ عَنْهُ نِصْفُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ ثُلُثًا أَوْ رُبُعًا فَعَلَى قَدْرٍ ذَلِكَ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: آللهِ لَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ عُبَادَةُ: وَاللهِ لَسَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
✧ "Whoever is afflicted in his body by the amount of half his blood money and pardons, half of his sins will be expiated for him, and if it is a third or a quarter, then according to that amount." A man said: "By Allah, did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" 'Ubadah said: "By Allah, I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
