machine translationIt is narrated by al-Rabīʿ b. Ṣubayḥ, and there is disagreement about him. Al-Anṣārī, Ḥajjāj b. Minhāl and others narrated it from al-Rabīʿ, from Ibn Sīrīn, from Anas and ʿUbādah b. al-Ṣāmit. Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh said: from al-Rabīʿ, from al-Ḥasan, from Anas and ʿUbādah. There is also disagreement about Ibn Sīrīn: Salamah b. ʿAlqamah narrated it from Ibn Sīrīn, from Muslim b. Yasār, from ʿUbādah; and ʿUqbah b. Khālid al-Shannī narrated it from Ibn Sīrīn, from Shuraḥbīl b. Ḥasanah, from ʿUbādah b. al-Ṣāmit. The report of Salamah b. ʿAlqamah is closer to being correct.
