✧ Thabit al-Bunani from Anas

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فَيَجِيءُ الْحَسَنُ أَوِ الْحُسَيْنُ فَيَرْكَبُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ، فَيُطِيلُ السُّجُودَ فَيُقَالُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَطَلْتَ السُّجُودَ، فَيَقُولُ: ارْتَحَلَنِي ابْنِي فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُعْجِلَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prostrate, and al-Hasan or al-Husayn would come and climb onto his back, so he would prolong the prostration. It would be said: 'O Prophet of Allah, you have prolonged the prostration.' He would say: 'My son mounted me, and I disliked to hurry him.'
