✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us during one of the two daytime prayers, Zuhr or Asr, carrying al-Hasan or al-Husayn. He came forward and placed him by his right foot, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrated with a long prostration. I raised my head amid the people, and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating while the boy was riding on his back. So I sat back and prostrated. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, some people said: O Messenger of Allah, you prostrated in this prayer a prostration that you do not usually make. Was it something you were commanded, or was it revealed to you? He said: 'No, it was not. But my son mounted me, and I disliked to hurry him until he finished his need.' Its chain is good.
