✧ The Virtues of Fatimah, May Allah's Peace and Blessings Be Upon Her Father and Upon Her, ᴿᴬ , and the Virtue of Her Two Sons, ᴿᴬ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فَيَجِيءُ الْحَسَنُ أَوِ الْحُسَيْنُ ؓ فَيَرْكَبُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ ﷺ فَيُطِيلُ السُّجُودَ، فَيُقَالُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، أَطَلْتَ السُّجُودَ ؟ ! فَيَقُولُ ﷺ: ارْتَحَلَنِي ابْنِي فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُعْجِلَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would prostrate, and al-Hasan or al-Husayn ؓ would come and climb onto his back ﷺ, so he would prolong the prostration. It was said, "O Prophet of Allah, you prolonged the prostration?!" He ﷺ said, "My son mounted me, and I disliked to hurry him."
