✧ I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: 'Do you know which of the people of faith is best in faith?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the angels.' He ﷺ said: 'They are so, and that is rightfully theirs, and what prevents them, for Allah the Exalted has placed them in the station He placed them. But others.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the prophets.' He ﷺ said: 'They are so, and that is rightfully theirs, but others.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who are they?' He ﷺ said: 'A people who come after me, while they are in the loins of men. They believe in me though they have not seen me, and they find the hanging page and act according to what is in it. These are the best of the people of faith in faith.'
