✧ I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you know which of the people of faith are most excellent in faith?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, the angels?" He said, "They are so, and that is rightfully theirs—and what would prevent them, since Allah has placed them in the station He has placed them in? Rather, it is others." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, then the prophets whom Allah, Exalted is He, honored with prophethood and messengership?" He said, "They are so, and that is rightfully theirs—and what would prevent them, since Allah has placed them in the station He has placed them in? Rather, it is others." He said, so we said, "Then who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Peoples who will come after me in the loins of men, who will believe in me without having seen me and will find the suspended pages and act according to what is in them. These are the most excellent of the people of faith in faith."
