Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 122Sahih
قَالَ وَلا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا أَحْسَنَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَأَنَّ الشَّمْسَ تَجْرِي فِي وَجْهِهِ وَمَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَسْرَعَ فِي مِشْيَتِهِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَأَنَّمَا الأَرْضُ تُطْوَى لَهُ إِنَّا لَنُجْهِدُ أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنَّهُ لَغَيْرُ مُكْتَرِثٍ
"I have not seen anything more beautiful than Allah’s Messenger ﷺ. The sun seemed to shine in his face. Nor have I seen anyone more rapid in his gait than Allah’s Messenger ﷺ. The earth seemed to be folded up for him. We must strenuously exert ourselves, while he is not subject to any stress."
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 123Weak
كَانَ عَلِيٌّ إِذَا وَصَفَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ إِذَا مَشَى تَقَلَّعَ كَأَنَّمَا يَنْحَطُّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ
“When "Ali described the Prophet ﷺ, he said: ‘When he walked, he moved as if he were descending a declivity'.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 124Hasan
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا مَشَى تَكَفَّأَ تَكَفُّؤًا كَأَنَّمَا يَنْحَطُّ مِنْ صَبَبٍ
"When the Prophet ﷺ walked, he inclined forward as if he were descending a declivity.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 125Weak
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُكْثِرُ الْقِنَاعَ كَأَنَّ ثَوْبَهُ ثَوْبُ زَيَّاتٍ
“Allah’s Messenger ﷺ would often wear the head veil, as if his robe was the robe of an oil dealer.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 126Weak
أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ الْقُرْفُصَاءَ قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ الْمُتَخَشِّعَ فِي الْجِلْسَةِ أُرْعِدْتُ مِنَ الْفَرَقِ
Qaila bint Makhrama said that she saw Allah’s Messenger ﷺ in the mosque squatting on his heels. She said: "When I saw Allah’s Messenger ﷺ displaying humility in the mosque, I trembled with fright."
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 127Sahih
أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مُسْتَلْقِيًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَاضِعًا إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الأُخْرَى
His paternal uncle said that he saw the Prophet ﷺ lying on his back in the mosque, placing one of his legs over the other.
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 128Weak
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ احْتَبَى بِيَدَيْهِ
“When Allah’s Messenger ﷺ sat in the mosque, he pressed his legs against his stomach with his hands.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 129Sahih
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ
"I saw Allah’s Messenger ﷺ leaning on a cushion on his left side.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 130Sahih
أَلا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ؟ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ الإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ قَالَ وَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ مُتَّكِئًا قَالَ وَشَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ أَوْ قَوْلُ الزُّورِ قَالَ فَمَا زَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهَا حَتَّى قُلْنَا لَيْتَهُ سَكَتَ
“Allah’s Messenger said ﷺ: ‘Should I tell you about the greatest of the major sins?’ They said: ‘Yes indeed, O Messenger of Allah!’ He said: ‘Associating partners with Allah, and recalcitrance against parents.’ Allah’s Messenger ﷺ sat down, and he was leaning on a support. He added: '...and false testimony’ or: ‘false speech.’ Allah’s Messenger ﷺ went on speaking until we said: ‘If only he would keep silent!”

أَمَّا أَنَا فَلا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا
"Allah’s Messenger said ﷺ:‘As for me, I do not eat while leaning on a support!’”

"Allah’s Messenger said ﷺ: 'I do not eat while leaning on a support! I do not eat while leaning on a support'!”

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ
"I saw Allah’s Messenger ﷺ leaning on a cushion.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 134Sahih
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ شَاكِيًا فَخَرَجَ يَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَى أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ قِطْرِيٌّ قَدْ تَوَشَّحَ بِهِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ
“The Prophet ﷺ was feeling ill, so he came out leaning on Usama ibn Zaid wearing an outer garment of coarse cotton fabric, which he had thrown on loosely, after which he led them in the ritual prayer.”
Ash-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyah 135Weak
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ عِصَابَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا فَضْلُ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ اشْدُدْ بِهَذِهِ الْعِصَابَةِ رَأْسِي قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ فَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبِي ثُمَّ قَامَ فَدَخَلَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ
"I went in to see Allah’s Messenger ﷺ during his illness in which he died, and on his head there was a yellow band. I greeted him with the salutation of peace, so he said: 'O Fadl!”'I said: 'Doubly at your service, O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'Wrap my head firmly with this band!' I acted accordingly, then he sat and placed the palm of his hand on my shoulder. Then he stood up and entered the mosque.” (This tradition is part of a longer story.)
