✧ The virtue of Friday and the hour in which the supplication is hoped to be answered

أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ حُمْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نُصَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ، وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ قَالَا: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ كُفِّرَتْ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَخَطَايَاهُ، فَإِذَا أَخَذَ فِي الْمَشْيِ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ أُجِيزَ بِعَمَلِ مِائَتَيْ سَنَةٍ
Translation

✧ Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, his sins and misdeeds are expiated for him. When he starts walking, for every step he has the work of twenty years. When he finishes Friday, he is rewarded with the work of two hundred years.
