✧ The virtue of Friday and the hour in which the supplication is hoped to be answered

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ الطَّبَّاعِ، ثَنَا مَخْلَدٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ:

كَانَ يَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَ غُسْلِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ حَدَثًا، وَيَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ

Translation

✧ He used to prefer not to nullify his ablution between the Friday ghusl and the prayer, and he would say: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'When one of you comes to Friday, let him perform ghusl.'
