✧ Quraysh came to Abu Talib and said, “O Abu Talib, your nephew harms us in our gathering place and in our mosque, so forbid him from harming us.” He said, “O Aqil, bring Muhammad to me.” So I went and brought him. He said, “O son of my brother, your cousins claim that you harm them, so stop that.” He said, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his eyes to the sky and said, ‘Do you see this sun?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘I am no more able to leave that for you than you are to kindle a flame from it.’” He said, “Abu Talib said, ‘My nephew has not lied to us, so go back.’”
