✧ Quraysh came to Abu Talib and said, 'Your nephew harms us in our gathering and our assembly, so forbid him from harming us.' He said to me, 'O 'Aqeel, bring Muhammad.' So I went to him and brought him out from a small plant called jils - Talha said it is a small plant - and he came at noon in the intense heat, seeking shade by walking in it because of the intense heat of the ground. So we came to them, and Abu Talib said, 'Your cousins claim that you harm them in their gathering and their assembly, so desist from that.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his gaze to the sky and said, 'Do you see this sun?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'I am no more able to abandon that than you are able to take a flame from it.' Abu Talib said, 'We have never found our nephew to lie, so go back.'
