✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey – or an expedition – when clouds covered us. We tried to determine the qiblah and differed, so each of us prayed and drew a line in front of him to mark our places. When morning came, we looked and found that we had prayed toward other than the qiblah. We mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he did not order us to repeat, saying: “Your prayer is sufficient.”
