✧ The Imam Should Not Be the Mu'adhdhin

قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ:

« لَوْ أُطِيقُ الْأَذَانَ مَعَ الْخِلِّيفَى لَأَذَّنْتُ

Translation
