✧ The virtue of the adhan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ:
لَوْ كُنْتُ أُطِيقُ الْأَذَانَ مَعَ الْخِلِّيفَا لَأَذَّنْتُ
Translation
✧ If I were able to give the adhan along with the khullayfā, I would have given it.
