✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was passing through Wadi al-Qura and said: O Muhammad, to what do you call us? He said: To God alone. He said: Then this wealth, is anyone more entitled to it than another? He said: One fifth is for God Almighty, and four fifths are for these, and even if you take an arrow from your pocket, you are no more entitled to it than your brother. He said: Then who are these—meaning those upon whom is wrath? He said: The Jews. He said: And who are these—meaning those who are astray? He said ﷺ: The Christians.
