✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the Opening of the Book (al-Fatihah), then said: Your Lord said: O son of Adam, I sent down upon you seven verses: three are for Me, three are for you, and one is between Me and you. As for those which are for Me: 'Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, the Compassionate, the Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment.' And the one between Me and you: 'You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help'—from you is worship and upon Me is help for you. As for those which are for you: 'Guide us to the straight path'—this is for you—'the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have incurred wrath'—the Jews—'nor of those who go astray'—the Christians.
