✧ The Husband's Right Over the Woman

1984 1664 / 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ هُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ. <متن_مخفي ربط="26020131" نص="أَنَّهُ أَتَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ مَا حَقُّ الزَّوْجِ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ فَقَالَ ﷺ

« لَا تَمْنَعُهُ نَفْسهَا وَإِنْ كَانَتْ عَلَى ظَهْر قَتْب وَلَا تُعْطِي مِنْ بَيْتِهِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ فَإِنْ فَعَلَتْ ذَلِكَ كَانَ لَهُ الْأَجْر وَعَلَيْهَا الْوِزْرُ وَلَا تَصُومُ يَوْمًا تَطَوُّعًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ فَإِنْ فَعَلَتْ ذَلِكَ أَثِمَتْ وَلَمْ تُؤَجِّرْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ فَإِنْ فَعَلَتْ لَعْنَتهَا الْمَلَائِكَة مَلَائِكَة الْغَضَب وَمَلَائِكَة الرَّحْمَةِ حَتَّى تَتُوبَ أَوْ تَرْجِعَ » قِيلَ وَإِنْ كَانَ ظَالِمًا قَالَ « وَإِنْ كَانَ ظَالِمًا » فَقَالَتْ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَك بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا لَا يُمَلِّكُ عَلَيَّ أَمْرِي رَجُل أَبَدًا" نوع="مرفوع"

✧ “She should not deny him herself even if she is on the back of a camel saddle, and she should not give anything from his house except with his permission, and if she does that the reward is his and the sin is hers. She should not fast a voluntary day except with his permission, and if she does that she sins and is not rewarded. She should not go out of his house except with his permission, and if she does the angels curse her—the angels of wrath and the angels of mercy—until she repents or returns.” It was said: “Even if he is unjust?” He said: “Even if he is unjust.” She said: “By the One who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, no man will ever have control over my affair.”
