machine translationHis hadith is not sound (lā yaṣiḥḥu ḥadīthuhu).
in المطالب العالية, p. 1232 - Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī
machine translationIts transmission revolves around Ibn Lahīʿah. Ibn Wahb and most of his students narrated it from him in this way, and Ibn Wahb's narration is in the Musnad of Abū Yaʿlā. ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd al-Muqriʾ said, from him, with this chain, from Salamah b. Qayṣar, from Abū Hurayrah.
in المطالب العالية, p. 1232 - M. ibn Ḥibbān al-Bustī
machine translationIt seems that this one, meaning Salāmah, who is in the chain, is Salamah b. Salāmah b. Waqsh, and Ibn Lahīʿah dropped the mention of Salamah from the chain, because among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ there is no man called Salāmah; rather he is Salamah b. Salāmah b. Waqsh b. Zaʿūrāʾ.
in المطالب العالية, p. 1232 - Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī
