He said: Stop, O Abu al-Hasan, for I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drawing water for his wudu, and I hastened to draw it for him. He said: Stop, O 'Umar, for I dislike that anyone should share in my purification.'

machine translationWe do not know it to be narrated from the Prophet ﷺ except through this route.

machine translationIt is not authentic (ṣaḥīḥ), because its narrator is al-Naḍr b. Manṣūr, from Abū l-Janūb, from him, and the two are not a proof in religion and their transmission is not to be relied upon.

machine translationThis hadith is not strong (laysa bi-qawī).
in المطالب العالية, p. 120 - Ibn Ṣalāḥ
machine translationI did not find any basis for this, nor did I find any mention of it in any of the reliable hadith books. He said: Even if it were established, it would not contradict the authentic hadiths that establish that he ﷺ sought help during his ablution.
