قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ هُوَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ:

« وَلَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَكِلُ صَدَقَتَهُ إِلَى غَيْرِ نَفْسِهِ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ هُوَ الَّذِي يَضَعُهَا فِي يَدِ السَّائِلِ، وَلَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَكِلُ وُضُوءَهُ إِلَى غَيْرِ نَفْسِهِ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ هُوَ الَّذِي يُهَيِّئُ وُضُوءَهُ لِنَفْسِهِ حِينَ يَقُومُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ

Translation

✧ And I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrust his charity to anyone other than himself until he placed it in the hand of the beggar, and I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrust his wudu to anyone other than himself until he prepared his wudu for himself when he got up at night.
