machine translationJaʿfar b. Muḥammad narrates it from his father, and there is disagreement about it from him. Abū Uways, Abū Ḍamrah, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī and Yaḥyā b. Sulaymān narrated it from Jaʿfar from Jābir, while Ibn ʿUyaynah transmitted it as a mursal report (irsāl) from Jaʿfar from his father from the Prophet ﷺ. And it is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) from Jābir.
