Sunan ad-Darimi 2636

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مُؤْمِنٌ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهِ فَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَلْأُدْعَ لَهُ فَأَنَا مَوْلَاهُ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِعَصَبَتِهِ مَنْ كَانَ»

Translation

✧ "By the One in whose hand is my soul, there is no believer on earth but I am the closest of people to him. So whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents, let them call upon me, for I am his patron. And whoever leaves wealth, it belongs to his heirs, whoever they may be."
