    " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَذَّنَ فِي أُذُنِ الْحَسَنِ حِينَ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ فَاطِمَةُ بِالصَّلَاةِ

    ✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ call the adhan for prayer in the ear of al-Ḥasan when his mother Fāṭimah gave birth to him.

    أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَسْلَفَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَكْرًا، فَأَتَاهُ يَتَقَاضَاهُ، فَأَمَرَ أَبَا رَافِعٍ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ، فَقَالَ: لَا أَجِدُ إِلَّا جَمَلًا خِيَارًا ! قَالَ: " فَأَعْطِهِ، فَإِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ - أَوْ قَالَ: خَيْرَ النَّاسِ - أَحْسَنُهُمْ قَضَاءً

    ✧ The Prophet ﷺ borrowed a young camel from a man. The man came to him demanding repayment, so he ordered Abū Rāfiʿ to repay him. Abū Rāfiʿ said: “I find only a choice camel.” He said: “Give it to him, for the best of you—or he said: the best of people—are those who are best in repayment.”

    أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ لِأَبِي رَافِعٍ: اصْحَبْنِي كَيْمَا تُصِيبَ مِنْهَا ! قَالَ: لَا، حَتَّى آتِيَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَسْأَلَهُ ! فَانْطَلَقَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا، وَإِنَّ مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ

    ✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man from Banū Makhzūm to collect zakah. He said to Abū Rāfiʿ: “Accompany me so that you may get something of it.” Abū Rāfiʿ said: “No, not until I go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ask him.” So he went to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him, and he said: “Zakah is not lawful for us, and the client of a people is one of them.”

    " الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ

    أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ " دَفَعَ إِلَى أَبِي رَافِعٍ الْعَنَزَةَ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ كِلَابَ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَتَلَهَا إِلَّا كَلْبًا، فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْتُلَهُ

    ✧ The Prophet ﷺ gave Abū Rāfiʿ a short spear and ordered him to kill the dogs of Madinah. He killed them except for one dog. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and told him, so he ordered him to kill it.

    " مَرَّ بِي نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا سَاجِدٌ قَدْ عَقَصْتُ شَعَرِي، فَأَطْلَقَهُ

    ✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was prostrating and had tied back my hair, so he loosened it.
