    " نَهَى عَنِ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ، قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ: لَا أَسِمُ إِلَّا فِي آخِرِ عَظْمٍ، فَوَسَمَ فِي آخِرِ الْجَاعِرَتَيْنِ

    ✧ He forbade branding on the face. Al-ʿAbbās said: “I will brand only on the farthest part of the bone,” so he branded on the farthest part of the two protruding hip bones.

    أَنَّ الْعَبَّاسَ بَنَى غُرْفَةً، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: اهْدِمْهَا، فَقَالَ: أَوَأَتَصَدَّقُ بِثَمَنِهَا ؟ فَقَالَ: " اهْدِمْهَا " ثَلَاثًا

    ✧ Al-Abbas built an upper room, and the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Demolish it.' He said: 'Should I give its price in charity?' He said: 'Demolish it,' three times.
