    ✧ Indeed, what I fear most for you is what Allah has brought forth from the plants of the earth and the splendor of the world. A man stood up to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, does good ever bring evil? The Prophet ﷺ was silent until we thought that revelation was descending upon him, and when it descended upon him, he would be covered with panting and sweat. When it was relieved from him, he said: 'Where is the questioner?' He said: Here I am, O Messenger of Allah, and I only intended good. He said: 'Good does not bring anything but good, but every spring-grown plant that the spring brings forth kills or nearly kills by bloating except the eater of green vegetation, for it eats until its flanks are distended, then it faces the sun, defecates and urinates, then returns and eats. Then it stands and chews the cud. So whoever takes wealth by its right, it is blessed for him and benefits him, and whoever takes wealth without its right, it is not blessed for him and he is like one who eats but is never satisfied.'

  16. Sahih Ibn Hibban 5175No grade recorded

    «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ الظَّالِمَ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يَنْفَلِتْ ثُمَّ تَلَا {وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ} »

    ✧ Indeed, Allah gives respite to the wrongdoer until, when He seizes him, He does not let him escape. Then he recited: {And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are wrongdoing. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe.}

    «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُحْشَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفُحْشَ وَلَا التَّفَحُّشَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشُّحَّ فَإِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمُ الشُّحُّ أَمَرَهُمْ بِالْقَطِيعَةِ فَقَطَعُوا أَرْحَامَهُمْ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالْفُجُورِ فَفَجَرُوا وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالْبُخْلِ فَبَخِلُوا» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَيُّ الْإِسْلَامِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ «أَنْ يَسْلَمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِكَ وَيَدِكَ» قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَأَيُّ الْهِجْرَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ «أَنْ تَهْجُرَ مَا كَرِهَ رَبُّكَ» قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْهِجْرَةُ هِجْرَتَانِ هِجْرَةُ الْحَاضِرِ وَهِجْرَةُ الْبَادِي أَمَّا الْبَادِي فَيُجِيبُ إِذَا دُعِيَ وَيُطِيعُ إِذَا أُمِرَ وَأَمَّا الْحَاضِرُ فَهُوَ أَعْظَمُهُمَا بَلِيَّةً وَأَعْظَمُهُمَا أَجْرًا»

    ✧ Beware of wrongdoing, for wrongdoing will be darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of obscenity, for Allah does not love obscenity or indecency. Beware of miserliness, for it destroyed those before you: it commanded them to sever ties, so they severed their kinship ties; it commanded them to wickedness, so they committed wickedness; and it commanded them to stinginess, so they were stingy.” A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, which Islam is best?” He said, “That the Muslims be safe from your tongue and your hand.” He said, “O Messenger of Allah, which emigration is best?” He said, “That you abandon what your Lord dislikes.” He said, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Emigration is of two kinds: the emigration of the settled person and the emigration of the Bedouin. As for the Bedouin, he answers when called and obeys when commanded. As for the settled person, he is the greater of the two in trial and the greater of the two in reward.”

  18. Sahih Ibn Hibban 5177Sahih

    ✧ Beware of obscenity, for Allah does not love the obscene or the indecent. Beware of wrongdoing, for wrongdoing will be darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of miserliness, for miserliness called those before you, so they shed their blood and severed their kinship ties.
