machine translationKhālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ narrates it from Abū Qilābah, and there is disagreement about it from him. Sulaymān al-Khūzī, who is al-Qāflāʾī, al-ʿAbbās b. al-Faḍl al-Anṣārī, the judge of Mosul, and Musaddad b. ʿAṭāʾ narrated it from Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Mālik b. al-Ḥuwayrith. But Shuʿbah, Wuhayb, Ḥammād b. Zayd, ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak, ʿAbbād b. ʿAbbād, Maḥbūb b. al-Ḥasan and al-Khaffāf opposed them; they narrated it from Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from the one to whom the Prophet ﷺ had taught the recitation, and they did not name him. This is the preserved (maḥfūẓ) version from Khālid.
