حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا، فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ، فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ، فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ

Translation

✧ If a slave woman of one of you commits adultery and her adultery becomes clear, let him flog her the prescribed punishment and not rebuke her. Then if she commits adultery again, let him flog her the prescribed punishment and not rebuke her. Then if she commits adultery, let him flog her the prescribed punishment and not rebuke her. Then if she commits adultery, let him sell her even for a rope.
