al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7227

✧ Delaying the punishment for a pregnant woman when she commits adultery until she gives birth and her menstrual bleeding stops, and mentioning the differences in wording among the narrators of the hadeeth of Abd al-A’la in this regard.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى هُوَ الثَّعْلَبِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

زَنَتْ جَارِيَةٌ لِي فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَا تَضْرِبْهَا حَتَّى تَضَعَ»
