حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْمٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مَا يَنْتَظِرُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا غِنًى مُطْغِيًا، أَوْ فَقْرًا مُنْسِيًا، أَوْ مَرَضًا مُفَنِّدًا، أَوْ مَوْتًا مُجْهِزًا، أَوِ الدَّجَّالَ، فَالدَّجَّالُ شَرُّ غَائِبٍ يُنْتَظَرُ، أَوِ السَّاعَةَ، فَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَى وَأَمَرُّ

✧ None of you is waiting for anything except wealth that makes one tyrannical, poverty that makes one forget, an illness that corrupts the mind, a death that comes suddenly, or the Dajjal—and the Dajjal is the worst absent thing awaited—or the Hour, and the Hour is more calamitous and more bitter.
