حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حِينَ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ، فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بِقَرْنِ شَيْطَانٍ، وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حِينَ تُقَارِبُ الْغُرُوبَ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to forbid prayer when the sun rises until it has risen high, and he would say, “It rises between the horns of a devil.” And he used to forbid prayer when it nears setting until it has set.
