وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ لِصَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ أَخَّرَ حَتَّى أَسْفَرَ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ، قَالَ: أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ ؟ فَقَامَ الرَّجُلُ، فَقَالَ: مَا بَيْنَ هَذَا وَهَذَا وَقْتٌ
Translation

✧ A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about the time of the dawn prayer, and he ordered Bilal to give the call for the dawn prayer, then he made the iqamah and prayed. The next day he delayed it until the sky brightened, then he ordered him and he made the iqamah and prayed. When he finished, he said: “Where is the questioner?” The man stood up, and he said: “Between this and this is the time.”
