✧ As for the saying of Abu Awana

فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

«إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِوَقْتِ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّيهَا لِسُقُوطِ الْقَمَرِ لِثَالِثَةٍ»

✧ 'I am the most knowledgeable of people about the time of this prayer, the last Isha prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray it at the setting of the moon for the third night.'
