✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ sent Arqam b. Abi al-Arqam al-Zuhri to collect some of the sadaqah. He passed by Abu Rafi' and asked him to come along. Abu Rafi' went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. He said: "O Abu Rafi', sadaqah is forbidden for Muhammad and for the family of Muhammad. The mawla of a people is one of them, or from themselves."
