حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ أَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: كِخْ كِخْ، أَلْقِهَا، أَمَا شَعَرْتَ أَنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ. ؟

Translation

✧ Al-Hasan took a date from the dates of charity and put it in his mouth, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'Kikh, kikh! Throw it away. Do you not know that we do not eat charity?'
