✧ I wanted to ask Umar for nearly a year about the two women who supported one another against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not dare to ask him. We were at Marr Zahran when he went to perform ablution and said, 'Bring me a water skin.' I brought it to him and said, 'O Commander of the Faithful, who were the two women?' Before I could finish my words, he said, 'Aishah and Hafsah.'
