✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in eight rak'ahs in the month of Ramadan and performed witr. The next night we gathered in the mosque and hoped he would come out to us, but we remained there until morning. Then we entered and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we gathered in the mosque and hoped you would lead us in prayer.' He said: 'I feared or disliked that it would be made obligatory upon you.'
