✧ "There was a man among those before you who had never stored up any good with God at all—Qatadah explained it: he had never saved any good with God at all. At the time of death he said to his sons: O my sons, what kind of father was I to you? They said: The best father. He said: When I die, burn me—or he said: crush me, or he said: dismember me—then on a day of strong wind scatter me. He died and that was done to him. God said: Be, and he was as quick as the blink of an eye. God said: O My servant, what made you do what you did? He said: Fear of You, O Lord. He said: So the first thing that reached him was that He forgave him."
